In 1974, Massey Ferguson acquired the Hanomag construction machinery division of Rheinstahl A.G., West Germany. This increased MF’s floor space for manufacturing industrial and construction machinery.

This mentions that the 1953 John Deere 50, 60, and 70 were the first US tractors to have Category II three point hitch. This was the basis for the Category II ASAE-SAE standard. These models actually had the 800 hitch which used two parellel upper links.

The MTZ tractor works in Belarus produced a prototype MTZ-2 with three point hitch and Independent PTO in 1949. It did not actually go into production until 1953 or so.
The first rubber tractor tires were made in 1932.
